Virginia Ginsburg
Our Founder
Virginia Ginsburg, President and Chief Consultant of Swell Strategies, founded the company in 2005 based on her passion for helping small business owners solve big problems. She works with small businesses of all sizes, at all stages of development.
“The challenges of a small business owner are universal,”
she says. “My goal is to help people overcome the three biggest
hurdles to business health and personal wealth: finances & accounting,
management & leadership, and marketing.”
Virginia has an MBA from the University of Southern California and is currently (slowly) pursuing a Ph.D. in Psychology at UCLA. Prior to founding Swell Strategies, she worked in marketing and public relations. During her time working at a number of Los Angeles-based firms, she also founded and ran two profitable e-commerce stores. Prior to that, she was a business reporter on the island of Guam. Although she does not currently specialize in any particular industry, she has deep experience in the fields of healthcare and technology.
As part of her passion for working with entrepreneurs, Virginia is actively
involved in small business development projects in the U.S. and in developing
countries. She lives with her family in Santa Monica, California.
